I am Alvaro Carballo Garcia, a self-employed senior programmer (remotely) working by using the commercial name Custom Solvers 2.0. I am the sole author of all what has been ever done by Custom Solvers 2.0 or varocarbas. I have two websites: customsolvers.com (main) and varocarbas.com (R&D).
Unless expressly and clearly indicated otherwise, all my public (programming) activity meets the following: I am its sole author (and developed everything from scratch) and it may be considered public domain.
Despite being more experienced with certain programming languages (C#/VB.NET, PHP, Java, VBA), I can easily pick up new ones and am already quite comfortable with a few others (Perl, C, C++, Python).
- UnitParser (CodeProject article, source code, code analysis, Java version) allows to easily deal with a wide variety of situations involving units of measurement.
- NumberParser (CodeProject article, source code, code analysis, Java version) provides a common framework for all the .NET numeric types.
- DateParser (source code, code analysis) enhances the default .NET date/time support.
Other relevant public output from my programming activity is the web domain ranking in varocarbas.com, which I fully (bots, ranking algorithms, backuping/coordinating software, etc.) developed from scratch mostly in PHP. You can find lots of (regularly-updated) valuable information there, but not the source codes which aren't publicly available.
