I am unhappy about the way StackExchange treats their user base. While any single person and any single company can make mistakes, I believe the sheer amount of poor decisions in the last year, year and a half, make me believe that those decisions are deliberate as part of some process to turn StackExchange into a cold hard machine that takes people as input, and Q&A as output, regardless of the wellbeing of the people involved.

I don't want to be part of that anymore. I prefer to spend my time where my input and work is valued, and I don't believe that StackExchange values that anymore. I sincerely hope that the company turns around at some point, but unless half the company is replaced by people that actually want to work with the community, rather than lock down criticism and stroke their own ego, I don't think that is a possibility anymore. I don't want to contribute on a site, where any attempt at helping other people is overshadowed by complete disdain from the company that hosts that site.
