How much of Stack's imgur image-ID space has been consumed?
Good to have this update. Now we have three data points! 0% in... 2014?, ~1% @ 2017, and 2.4% in 2024. :-D

Aha, that's a slick way to handle it -- odd-length IDs imply no suffix, even-length IDs imply a suffix is present. Thanks @CrisLuengo!

Improved experience for users with review suspensions
@YaakovEllis Would it be possible to change the color (or shape, etc.) of the dot during the suspension, as a further (albeit perhaps subtle) indicator that the user's situation is out of the ordinary?

Is there a new "Read-More-auto-insert" feature active on the sites?
Yep, looks like that's it. Obvious in retrospect, thanks. And yes, I absolutely linked the source.

@LorenzoDonati Easy solution: define a hash that spits out an 8-character hex value from any overlong tag name. BOOM. Problem solved.

Are poll-style questions ever acceptable on meta sites?
"I've never had an author or the community disagree with the reasoning." Perhaps this is because you're an SO team member, with godlike rep and a diamond next to your name. I absolutely would have pushed back at you here if not for that. Your opinions here are more than just simple opinions: they carry a great deal of authority. So, don't be surprised if people don't resist them.

Setting Up a HackerOne Security Bug Bounty Program
@Matsemann I assume this would at least partly be to minimize the early financial weight of the program to SO, by avoiding non-SO bugfinders submitting dozens of bounty-eligible tickets.

@JohnMiliter Rep carries a specific meaning within the network. Security issues, as infrastructure problems, are really outside the network. Gaining rep for helping improve site security seems like a category error to me.
