As the founder of Topstone Software, I have completed a variety of consulting projects involving large-scale faceted text search using Solr, Fusion, and Elasticsearch. I have deployed software to build an AWS Athena data lake.

Prior to founding Topstone Software I was a computer scientist at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory where I worked on a variety of projects of US government customers. These projects included the design and implementation of a graph database and text search systems.

As a member of small teams of two to four people, I have designed and built compilers for C++, Verilog and VHDL.
