Jan 6, 2014 at 9:46 comment added Benjol @TimPost, you say may lose 'some' rep, but if I'm understanding correctly, people who have mostly asked questions specific to SO will lose most of their rep when those questions are transferred back?
Jan 6, 2014 at 6:29 comment added Tomas It is funny to see how this "question" is all upside down. Tim states facts in the question and you are asking questions in the answer :-)
Dec 31, 2013 at 8:58 comment added Richard Tingle @Pekka but that would exclude all non SO people
Dec 31, 2013 at 2:22 comment added Pekka @Richard you could link it to SO scores for example
Dec 31, 2013 at 0:56 comment added Richard Tingle If meta SE rep was eliminated how would community moderation work?
Dec 20, 2013 at 5:03 comment added Pekka @gnostradamus oh yes. That, and plenty of wailing.
Dec 20, 2013 at 4:15 comment added gnostradamus "It's like expecting a new baby." Does that mean you expect to be elbow deep in crap for the first few weeks? ;)
Dec 19, 2013 at 16:00 comment added Pekka @Tiny Tim cool. Looking forward to this.
Dec 19, 2013 at 15:57 comment added user50049 We've got the system message bars we can use to direct traffic initially, and we're prepared to move things about as needed. We're going to be digging deep into what we've got on MSE when we split, and it'll be individual calls. Yes, the community will be involved and likely flagging stuff to go back to MSO, but it's going to be up to us what gets sent back. Folks might lose some rep here or there as 'spring cleaning' happens, but I don't really see a reason to eliminate rep on MSE altogether. On MSO, it'll just match your main site rep - so that's pretty well settled.
