Because, if I don't antagonize a moderator, it often appears I'm not worthy of time or even acknowledgement. It's funny how that selects for loud users with loads of friction. I don't know if SO has a major issue with chat but having a small site doesn't mean that these things don't happen... and I'd argue the clique-y nature is more likely on a small site than a large one. | |
