Aha, added the link to Art's comment, and also updated the image to clearly mention whom to ignore

Mar 6, 2018 at 1:13 | comment | added | ArtOfCode | Not at all, @BhargavRao, just wanted to highlight that element of it. There are definitely ways we can put a clampdown on things like this happening.
Mar 6, 2018 at 1:10 | comment | added | Bhargav Rao | Yup @Art, it's because of the good people who review them properly that Charcoal is now famous. I'm just pointing out a very minor issue which I discovered accidentally. If we manage to fix these minor issues then we can certainly gain the trust of others who are a bit skeptical of the system. (I hope my post didn't come across as "STAP IT IMMEDIATELY", as that is not my intention)
Mar 6, 2018 at 1:05 | comment | added | ArtOfCode | While this does demonstrate that some people are overzealous, it does also speak well of our review process - even though an incorrect flag was cast, it was caught almost immediately by other Charcoal members. That's a good illustration of why a post isn't going to get deleted and forgotten about; if this happens (which is rare), then we'll know about it and be able to alert the necessary people.
Mar 6, 2018 at 0:56 | comment | added | Bhargav Rao | Yep @ChristianRau, that's true. That's the point of this post. However, I'd not say "Charcoal users" collectively, but just the small bunch of them who are a bit trigger happy. Most of the Charcoal guys are quite proficient in handling spam (like I mentioned about the trusted user).
Mar 6, 2018 at 0:53 | comment | added | Christian Rau | If that is remotely a possibility to happen, that speaks pretty clearly for not giving individual Charcoal users unilateral spam-deletion powers.
Mar 6, 2018 at 0:52 | comment | added | Bhargav Rao | @ChristianRau Yep, they're a registered user. I've marked a few of their autoflags as helpful.
Mar 6, 2018 at 0:51 | comment | added | Christian Rau | Are you saying the overzealous problem flagger actually is a proper Charcoal user (upto the point of having their account registered for auto-flagging)? Maybe that says something too and ought to be investigated, rather than thinking how best to "cripple" them.
Mar 6, 2018 at 0:40 | comment | added | Andras Deak -- Слава Україні | Aw, too bad :( Back to the drawing board, I guess ;)
Mar 6, 2018 at 0:16 | comment | added | Bhargav Rao | @AndrasDeak Well certain moderators on smaller sites do send a mod message to users who wrongly flag. But I think we shouldn't be going to that level. Charcoal must ensure that it doesn't go to such an extreme level. And no, mods can't add flag bans. If that was the case, I would have done that.
Mar 6, 2018 at 0:15 | comment | added | Andras Deak -- Слава Україні | Hot-headed users could be filtered out empirically. Say, give a one-week cool-down if you mistakenly nuke a post with your one manual flag. If it recurs, make it a month. And by cool-down I mean flag ban ;)
