The entrenched mindset is that all sorts of details are hardcoded and can/will be changed as needed for each additional site theme. Give them a year or two to get used to everything belonging a in a config file of some sort so that it can be adapted without making any code changes. | |

Clearly, the color should be pulled from one of the site's existing theme colors (or a new theme color needs to be added and set for all sites). Knowing to watch for color clashes isn't rocket science. | |
