RSS versus the indicator is an interesting one, because of factors like users either not being allowed to create an SO account or not being allowed to install an RSS reader. I imagine having the content inline on the site will drive adoption and usage for some cohorts of users but not others. At the very least, this project has lead to a number of fundamental improvements and cleanup internally, which will help pave the way for new features. I'd love to see a question about bringing all the features of custom filters into RSS. | |
