I, too had my "important" comments deleted, and was told comments were ephemeral. This caused me confusion because I wanted comments to be important. Now I see that it's not the content that makes it important... it's the label. I CAN SEE! | |

A correct answer that says "do it this way, and here is why" is great. If there is a grave danger of users doing the wrong thing, then that is part of why the correct answer is correct, I should think. | |
