If they are using their company account, they are always acting in official capacity. For regular, after-hours questions they should have their own, private accounts. | |

If the employee status does not grant any extra privileges, I suppose it does not make much sense to show it on main sites, but if it does, I think it should be visible, just like the moderator diamond. Title on the user card is kind of a bonus suggestion on how to make the "New contributor" more useful than it is right now for staff users. I don't think it will be very useful on main sites, for the same reason as the "staff hexagon", but who knows, I'll leave it up to discussion. | |
