That's actually .. pretty normal ... in some fields. So "toxic" itself can be somewhat relative. But in the end, it's about who is feeling annoyed or threatened by the behavior that matters just as much as the behavior itself. If it's affecting folks adversely, including the one doing it, it needs to be stopped unceremoniously.
