As to your larger question, I agree. I think there is a feeling that a "rising tide helps all ships" and that attention spent on features for SO will help the rest of the sites. I believe, candidly, that this is not always true. In my perfect world, we would develop more things as we did in your example - and then hide them behind site settings and feature flags. | |
