In this case, there is actually a change in how the feature works, so I don't think it's as obvious how to handle the tag. (In any case, I'm not a decision-maker on this project; that's just my own opinion.) | |

I'm not going to be a user of that feature, and it's certainly not going to be me that has to deal with any of the fallout from a bad name choice. I just am unable to keep my opinion to myself sometimes :) | |

| Sep 16, 2022 at 17:09 | comment | added | tanj92 Staff | @Spevacus the bookmarks icon was deployed yesterday to our design system which was an oversight on our part to not call out in the FAQ section in preparation for the launch soon, but they will be slightly different in that there will be a default state (unfilled) for when posts haven't been saved and filled when they are. This change will be made early next week. This was a mistake on our part to not properly include this in the FAQ and we apologize for the confusion. | |

This has been addressed in the separate bug reports. This was not intentional until as we were going to save this for when we were ready to launch (hint: it's soon 😁) but we'll leave it up for now. | |

But that'd be a decision this community can make for itself. | |

We've already made favorites a synonym of bookmarks so questions about the old favorites feature can't be separated from questions about the bookmarks feature. I bet we're going to synonymize bookmarks with saves even though those tagged questions are about the old system. Surely there must be a better use of people's time than trying to replaced "bookmarked" with "saved" everywhere. | |
