Jul 24, 2023 at 17:28 | comment | added | NVZ | @Catija A quick example. "Migrated (x time units) ago" links to MSE on this Q, while on the same Q post-migration, "Migrated (x time units) ago" links to the revision history.
Apr 17, 2023 at 15:29 | comment | added | Braiam | How about the FAQ link is self explanatory blurb: See the help center about migrations; or something like it.
Apr 12, 2023 at 14:33 | comment | added | Catija StaffMod | It should be consistent everywhere since there's only one chunk of text but I agree that I can never remember which "migrated" will take me to the question and which the FAQ. I'll see if we can adjust which words get these links and make it more obvious.
Apr 8, 2023 at 3:31 | comment | added | NVZ | +100 It's also inconsistent across various SE sites, iirc.
Apr 5, 2023 at 12:29 | comment | added | Andrew Morton | Wouldn't "moved" be simpler than "migrated"?

Original example migration was rejected; replaced it with a new one.

Apr 2, 2023 at 18:33 | comment | added | Mast | I default to clicking both and closing the one I didn't need. The problem is both links are under the same text, 'migrated'. Renaming either may be sufficient, but the current situation definitely is counter-intuitive.

Apr 2, 2023 at 17:32 | comment | added | VLAZ | "I have no idea how many times I've made this mistake, and I still keep clicking on the FAQ link instead of the source link" for what it's worth, I think I click the wrong link every single time. I don't know how many times I have clicked total, though.
