If the next three posts are like this, I will be happy. In the context of the past few years of company communications, however, it is just words (and ominous words, at that): it'll take us quite some time to move past that. You'll receive a lot of criticism (and have, already), and while that criticism is valid (and maybe even actionable by you, as here), very little of it will be about you, the plans you've made, or the actions you've taken (as here). I'd still want to understand the justifications beforehand, but maybe this is just me still feeling a bit raw with some of the communications of the company.
