Based on what I heard from Jeff is clearly in the "Speak English" camp - see/listen to the podcasts for his comments. I doubt we're going to see much in the way of localization or help on that matter..I don't think it is a priority.
I agree with the OP - it would be nice to make it easier for non English speakers.
