Jul 9, 2011 at 11:51 comment added doncherry No, I got the badge indeed, but I used to have my real name put in as well, I just took it out yesterday, so maybe the badge will be taken away. But as you said, I'm not complaining about getting or not getting it, I'm just looking for clarification what's actually needed in order to get it. Obviously, the name can't be taken too literally, I just wanted to point out that it isn't totally selfexplanatory.
Jul 9, 2011 at 11:43 comment added Martin Scharrer Seems I was wrong. I took your post as a complaint that you didn't got that badge just because you didn't provided the real name (which is the only thing not filled out on your profile). Now I see you got it anyway, so I got that one wrong. Beside that, you shouldn't take the badge name to literally.
Jul 9, 2011 at 10:19 comment added doncherry I agree that I've never seen a "real name" displayed here, but the order of the text fields in the edit profile page is really confusing to this respect: Display Name (public), Email (private), Real Name (private), Website (public), Location (public), Birthday (indirectly public), About Me (public). As for the badge: What leads you to think it "apparently really means all fields"? Thinking about autobiographies, they're usually written to be published, so it'd be deceiving to need non-public entries to be called an autobiographer.
