It would be nice if there were a way to organise my favourites by tag, or OP, or possibly just search them.

You can use infavorites:mine in the search page to search by your favorites.
For e.g.
- My favorites by tag:
infavorites:mine [sql] - My favorites by OP:
infavorites:mine user:3836 - My favorites with term:
infavorites:mine select
You can also search for other user's favorites. For e.g. This is Jon Skeet's favorite list:
