Revisions to Why didn't (or did) I or some other user get a hat although the requirements were (or weren't) fulfilled?

Rollback to Revision 6 - Formatting is unnecessary. Also, once next year's Bash starts, that site will be taken down.

During Winter BashWinter Bash, users can earn hats🎩👒hats. But sometimes it seems that a hat was awardedawarded even though its requirements weren't (yet) met, or vice versa.

What could be the reason for this?
