We currently don't have an explicit entry point for this, but you can paste an image link when the uploader UX is showing.

We will be updating the experience to add an explicit link to upload via URL. That is coming soon.

We added back an explicit entry point for this and you can paste an image link when the uploader UX is showing.

We no longer have an explicit entry point for this, but you can paste an image link when the uploader UX is showing. There was a focus bug in Chrome that made it fail. That is now fixed.

The same bug still exists in Edge, but if you click somewhere on the dialog, then it will work. We are working on a fix.

Once that is fixed we will update the UI text to:

Drag & drop, paste or click here to upload an image (max 2 MB)
