Aug 27, 2020 at 20:42 | comment | added | Ben Kelly StaffMod | This has been fixed. No more ghost clicks of underlying links. Spoilers reveal on any left click anywhere within the spoiler. Clicking again does not re-hide the spoiler (but rather lets its contents handle their own clicks)

Aug 27, 2020 at 18:32 | comment | added | Ben Kelly StaffMod | Thanks for the discussion all. I have a fix for this going out in the next build (soon™). Will update the question with changes and tag this answer at that time.
Aug 27, 2020 at 17:19 | comment | added | Sebastian Simon | @Rob Well, I’ve edited the statement. Is it still ambiguous? Of course a single tap reveals and hides the spoiler on mobile.

Aug 27, 2020 at 17:06 | comment | added | Sebastian Simon | @Rob Seems like expected behavior. Not sure what you’re trying to say… Are you referring to “On mobile, you have to tap and hold until the link menu appears where you can choose the “Open link in new tab” option.”? That just applies to links, not spoilers themselves.
Aug 27, 2020 at 16:58 | comment | added | Rob | I'm on mobile, FF Android, I touched the spoiler once and it was revealed in-place.

Aug 27, 2020 at 16:27 | comment | added | Sebastian Simon | @41686d6564 Right, I don’t mean any mouse button, but a left click in any position. I’ll edit to clarify.
Aug 27, 2020 at 16:26 | comment | added | 41686d6564 | Yes, great observation indeed. But I disagree with "any click should first reveal the spoiler". I don't think middle and right clicks should reveal the spoiler.
Aug 27, 2020 at 15:32 | comment | added | Ben Kelly StaffMod | @user289905 Good observation. I'll do a sanity check on that as well. Might be worth adding as a bug report answer if you notice anything off with it now.
Aug 27, 2020 at 15:23 | comment | added | Sebastian Simon | @BenKelly I see potential for another bug when fixing this. Make sure that hidden spoilers don’t trigger clicks on invisible links. See my edits…

Oh, right, it’s called “interactive” (e.g. <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/a>).
