Hello everyone,

From times to times there are posts published by other users in Stack Overflow where instead of appearing the regular four post options link|edit|retag|flag, it only appears the two following link|flag (if I'm not wrong at the moment).

I'm assuming that this probably means that someone is editing the post, but I noticed that SO supports parallel edits, so instead of assuming the reason behind it, can someone explain me why this happens?
