Possible Duplicate:
The future of meta.stackoverflow and meta.stackexchange

I was told by a moderator that at some point, MSO will become more like other meta sites (same rep on main and meta, scope constrained to issues with main site only). I was just curious what the plans were on this and when it was expected to happen.

  • It's being split into MSO and MSE. 6-8 weeks (I think MSE will retain rep)

    @luc details, details.. I think you get to keep rep for non-SO posts on MSE. MSO will probably share rep with SO..
