In the flag summary page, we see now all kinds of flags we submitted including comment flags that until recently were not visible in the summary except for raw number on the side. That's all good.

However, each item still show only either "asked" or "answered" with the question/answer author. For comment flag it can be rather confusing as it appears we flagged the post which is not true. Example:

I flagged a comment posted on this question, not the question itself.

I suggest something like this instead:

Where "foo" is the comment author.

The first time I saw this I thought I'd misflagged – Richard Tingle Jul 16 '13 at 8:54
  • You mean...add another if statement to the code? But...but...that'll make it too slow! – Cody Gray Jul 16 '13 at 9:45

@Cody actually it might cause it to be faster! ;) – Shadow Keeps Social Distance Jul 16 '13 at 9:52

This can be even more confusing if you have flagged both a post and a comment on it: i.stack.imgur.com/dJVUu.jpg – Esoteric Screen Name Aug 8 '13 at 18:18

100% behind this proposal. How can this request be denied when there are beautiful freehand circles involved? – jmac Aug 23 '13 at 6:16

  • @Gothdo lol, thanks for the bounty...I've tried it before too without success. – Shadow Keeps Social Distance Dec 11 '16 at 15:25

@Pierre.Vriens well, you can always ping me in chat, I just pinged you there with a reply. (this way we don't have to delete our comments later, and it's easier to find in the future.) – Shadow Keeps Social Distance Apr 9 '17 at 7:47
