Be aware that you can run into trouble if you try to use < inside: <code>a<b</code> gives a!

1. You can't have a backslash \ in the end of inline code in comments. If you try `\\`, then the result will be `\`. You'll have to type `\\ ` and live with the white space being within the inline code.
