Tag wiki excerpts are the most visible portion of tag wikis. They're shown when hovering over a tag, on the Tags page, and in the autocomplete suggestions when adding tags. They're intended to be a short, easily understood description of what that tag covers; the complementary tag wiki is the place to go into more detail and elaboration.
