The Android app Stack Exchange is really useful, but it needs some changes, for instance the ability to delete posts.

It really needs to be unabandoned!

All SE/SO apps have been abandonned apparently so that the mobile team an focus on the site. – Rakete1111 Sep 5 '18 at 7:28
  • Additionally, the lead developer of the mobile app has left Stack Exchange. – Sonic the Anonymous Hedgehog Sep 5 '18 at 7:35

Please explain why we need an app. Likely, the features you actually want can be implemented on the mobile site as well. – Erik A Sep 5 '18 at 10:41

Those things can both be implemented without an app... Imo implementing push notifications on the mobile website is more sensible than developing a separate app. – Erik A Sep 5 '18 at 12:23
  • What about the icon on my screen then? – Anders Lindén Sep 5 '18 at 15:43
  • You can add a shortcut to the Stack Exchange URL on your home screen. – Glorfindel Sep 5 '18 at 16:44
  • How would I do that? – Anders Lindén Sep 5 '18 at 16:49
  • If you are on chrome, tap on the 3-dot menu button in the top right and tap on "Add to Home screen" – Kodos Johnson Sep 5 '18 at 17:32
  • Can I get rid of the chrome badge? – Anders Lindén Sep 5 '18 at 18:25
