For questions about the permanent URLs that can be used to access any question or answer on the site.
Permalinks can be found in the share menu and provide a permanent URL that doesn't change and always redirects to the appropriate question or answer on the site. Questions can be answered via /q/{id} and answers can be accessed via /a/{id}.
The share menu also appends the user's ID number to the end for the purposes of tracking the referrer for the Announcer badge family. However, the user ID can be removed from the end and the link will still work correctly.
