Does unaccepting violate site rules?

Testing things and finding exploits is fine as long as you do not massively affect other people. There is no written rule "don't cause sudden rep loss of 1500 reputation points to various users at ...

Does unaccepting violate site rules?

Well, sometimes people do things for the wrong reasons. They ragequit, and the behaviour here's suspect. Sometimes, we need to go check what happened and we need to decide if this person's doing this ...

Does unaccepting violate site rules?

I think the 3 day suspension will have been imposed to give the moderators a chance to establish why you had unaccepted a large number of questions in a short space of time. Taking the time to ...

New timeline view only shows *last* accept vote, no un-accepts

Yes: please change this. The lack of this information gets really annoying when there are nontrivial changes in the accepted answer. If you want an example of a question with such changes, this one is ...

Should I keep downvoting questions with answers that aren't accepted?

That's bad IMO. You aren't voting for the quality of the content, but rather users' behavior (whether the author is following up is surely a behavior), which is a common mispractice of voting. While ...

How can I find unaccepted answers using the SEDE?

Unfortunately SEDE does not contain the additional information required to satisfy this request. When a post is unaccepted by the asker: its row in Posts2Votes is soft deleted (DeletionDate is ...

Should I keep downvoting questions with answers that aren't accepted?

This sounds like a very bad reason to downvote and unhealthy to everyone involved, you, the asker, the community as a whole, SE's voting system, and not the least its reputation. If that's the only ...

New timeline view only shows *last* accept vote, no un-accepts

This has been fixed. Question timelines weren't looking for accept votes on their answers, just votes on the question itself. The timeline now shows all past and present accept votes on their answers. ...

Should I keep downvoting questions with answers that aren't accepted?

Even if the question is good, they were too lazy to follow up, and they deserve the downvote. No. While you're free to downvote as you like, it's very much appreciated if you follow the golden rule: "...

Does unaccepting violate site rules?

I find you're a genius! IMO it's totally acceptable to unaccept any answer you want at any time and in as many as you wish. It's your tick and you can take it back as you please. Suspending you for ...

How to create a list of all questions I answered without accept?

That's not too hard; here is one for part 1, and here is part 2. For reference, here is the second query (the first one is identical, but leaves out the q.AnswerCount = 1 condition): SELECT q.Id AS [...

Answer re-accepted but still -15 RP

This is just a matter of both the unaccept and re-accept coming in at the exact same time and throwing the system off. A simple recalculation of your account fixed the issue.

Improve the UX so it's obvious that the previous answer will be unaccepted when accepting another one

I say Keep It Simple. When trying to accept answer while there is other accepted answer, show a simple confirm dialog, same as other places e.g. voting to delete a post:

Improve the UX so it's obvious that the previous answer will be unaccepted when accepting another one

A simple way of making this obvious is to not allow accepting an answer if another answer is accepted. The user must unaccept the first answer before being able to accept the other answer. A pop-up ...

Achievements bar is showing positive reputation gain in spite of the answer getting unaccepted?

That +15 is caused by three upvotes (+30 reputation) minus 15 because of the unaccept. Since all events happened on the same post, they're lumped together. I do see the unaccept in your reputation ...
